- Society of Poole Men A men's society from Poole, England. "The object of the Society shall be to arouse and maintain an interest in all that apertains to the welfare and progress of the Borough and Town of Poole." But, wider interests include Poole's long historical association with Newfoundland. See, in particular, the page recording photos of a recent lecture to the Society by Allan Perry of the Trinity Trust, on Poole's links with Newfoundland, and, presumably[?], also, the Lester-Garland Property in Trinity. The website includes an archive of the Society's newsletters [see: interesting correspondence from Kevin Toope of Trinity Bight in the February 1999 newsletter].
